California Gun Laws 2024
- AB 28 = 11% excise tax on the purchase of guns and ammo
- AB 92 = prohibit a person who is not allowed to possess a firearm from possessing body armor
- AB 97 = take effect in 2033 require the state to report arrests related to the possession of ghost guns
- AB 301 = allows a judge to issuing a gun violence restraining order because of purchasing body armor.

- Bans the sale and distribution of so-called assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and full-auto switches (which are already illegal) ban new sales of .50 BMG ammunition &.50 caliber centerfire rifles
