The 2022 rally season included VCDL Lobby Day in January, the WVCDL lobby day, Iowa 2A Day and the Gun Rights Coalition lobby day in Olympia in February, Georgia in March, IGOLD in April and the Michigan Second Amendment March in September. Below are the dates, organizers and event flyers from 2022.
Second Amendment rallies are important because they promote awareness of the benefits of guns in society and help to normalize firearms in American culture. Gun ownership is not just about exercising a constitutional right; it is also a tradition and a craft that has been passed down through generations in many American communities.
2A Rallys highlight the positive aspects of gun ownership, Second Amendment rallies can help to promote greater understanding and acceptance of this aspect of American culture.
Second Amendment rallies provide a platform for outreach to non-gun owners, helping to bridge the gap between gun owners and non-gun owners and fostering greater dialogue and understanding between the two groups. Finally, Second Amendment rallies can unite various gun groups for a common cause, promoting greater effectiveness in advocating for the right to bear arms.
